Living Words of Reem “The Soul of Her Grandfather's Soul”

Reem… What a beautiful name for a girl…

Death... What a terrible reality for a child...

Grandfather... What a beautiful person for a granddaughter…

Love... What a beautiful feeling for everything...

Heaven... What a beautiful place for muslims...

Is*rael... What a bad nation for humanity... Love...

Despite all these beauties, the beautiful Rim was destroyed by a bad nation…

We never knew such beauty before she journeyed to heaven... Her sparkling eyes, her happy smile, and her lively life suddenly faded away…

Reem… The soul of his grandfather's soul… His grandfather's soulmate… His grandfather's birthday gift… And his grandfather's heavenly scented angel…

We first met her with her lifeless body lying on her grandfather's lap. Would the tiny scar on her cheek suit her angel face so well? Her grandfather was kissing her cold skin, the inside of her pupil, and combing her hair for the last time. He was calling his granddaughter as "the soul of my soul". From her tiny ear he took the earring, the only thing she had left in this world, and pinned it to one side of his outfit. It was an ornament coming from his “soul of his soul”.

Reem… The most beautiful girl in the world... Just one of the thousands of children murdered by Isr*ael... She is angel of martyrs… While she was dying, she brought tears to our eyes, she revived our hearts and she reminded us that we are human... She was like saying "This world is a temporary world, work not for a that world, but for the hereafter from which I come.. Stop eating each other and look at what is being done to us, Palestinians. Open your eyes...What are you waiting for? Don't you know that we will hold you accountable in the afterlife? What happened to us can happen to you, too.”

It is as if she gifted the world with the declaration of his birthday, December 23, which is the same date as his grandfather, as World Child Martyrs' Day...

While gifting that date to us, she said, "Think of how we children endure death, which is difficult for you adults... Realize that our bodies do not belong to this world... Know that our bodies soaked in blood smell like perfume... Our Prophet Muhammed (sav) confirmed that our martyrs' bodies will never rot. Also remember that martyrdom is a supreme position. Live your worldly life without forgetting these things.”
